Set Up a Calculated Fee or Tariff Fee

The Calculated Fee tab in your Phoenix Dashboard allows you to define additional fees such as handling charges, regional tariffs, or processing costs. These fees are automatically applied at checkout for customers in the specified countries or regions.

Follow these steps to add and configure a calculated fee:

  1. Log in to your Phoenix Dashboard.

  2. In the left navigation panel, go to Stores.

  3. Click your Store URL to open its configuration.

  4. Select the Calculated Fee tab at the top of the page. You will see a list of existing fees (if any) with their name, amount, country, region, and status.

  5. Click + Add Calculated Fee.

  6. Fill in the following fields:

    • Fee Name: Enter a descriptive name (for example, Handling Fee or Regional Tariff).

    • Fee Amount: Set the fee value (for example, 4.00).

    • Fee Type: Choose whether the fee is a flat amount ($) or a percentage (%) of the total order.

    • Country: Select the country where the fee should apply (for example, United States).

    • States/Regions: Choose one or more regions (for example, California, Indiana, Texas).

    • Active: Turn on this toggle to enable the fee immediately.

  7. Click Add to save the fee.

The new fee appears in the list with its name, amount, country, and active status. You can edit or delete it anytime using the icons in the Actions column.
